Key2Read (K2R) is offered Mon-Thur, for 4 weeks of reading therapy to provide a phonemic foundation for the upcoming school year. The Orton-Gillingham method is proven successful in teaching the dyslexic child to read. Instruction provided by a certified Scottish Rite Take Flight dyslexia interventionist.

Students are grouped by ability pending enrollment.
Level 1 - Beginning reader - limited letter recognition
Level 2, 3, & 4 - grouped by phonemic ability an/or previous dyslexia intervention.

> Limited to 5 students per class
> A Diagnosis of Dyslexia is required
> Students may attend both sessions
> Tuition due in full upon enrollment

Students 6th-12th Grade
Session 1: June 5 - June 30
Session 2: July 10 - August 4
Four Week term = 1 course credit
Tuition $1000 per Course Credit

Accredited by SACS, Sharp Academy Summer School is
provided for students requiring additional learning opportunities to earn required course credits.

Core class subjects available are Algebra I & II, Geometry, English, US History, Government, Economics, World History, World Geography, Biology I & II, Chemistry, or Physics.

Tuition for Summer Course Recovery is due in full by the first day of classes.

Dyslexia tutoring provided by certified Take Flight Dyslexia Interventionist

Reading enrichment will focus on decoding fluency skills and comprehension

Writing enrichment will include proper grammar, penmanship, and fundamental writing skills
