       SHARP ACADEMY HANDBOOK UNIFORM DESCRIPTION:

        Overall, our dress code is based on neatness, modesty, and comfort. 

                   Tops: Sharp Academy Logo Polo (red or black)

                  Boys: Performance Polo (SportFlex)

                   Girls: Performance Polo (SportFlex)

Bottoms:  Colors black or khaki

Boys: Pants or Shorts

                         Girls: Pants, Shorts, Skorts, or Capris 

• Girl’s shorts & skirts must be modest length, no more than 4 inches above the knee.
• Boys & Girls shorts are Walking Shorts style, with a button & zipper.
• Athletic shorts are ONLY permitted during Athletics & are ordered throughWoodstock Enterprises
• Winter coats and sweaters are allowed during the season.
• Zippered or pull-over jackets/hoodies must be Sharp Academy Logo Jackets. Hoodies and jackets cannot be worn as shirts.  School polos must be worn under school logo jackets.
• All other jackets/hoodies cannot be worn to school.  
• Blue jeans are NOT acceptable any day of the week.
• No face piercings (nose, lips, cheeks, tongue, multiple-ear, etc.), no tatoos, or facial hair allowed on campus.
• Hair: Boys hair must be above the collar, eyebrows and earlobes.  Eyes and earlobes must be visible. Hair cannot be touching the collar, no decorative shaving on head. Girls hair must be modest and neatly kept, no decorative hair coloring or hair clip-on tinsil/color.

 

OPTIONS for STUDENTS OUT OF DRESS CODE:

• Parents will be called to bring a change of clothes
• A change of clothes will be provided from our donation closet to the student for the day
• Students can be sent home if hair and dress code is not followed
• Students will receive a Demerit for dress code violations - to be recorded in their Behavior Record in FACTS

 

Sharp Academy reserves the right to make the final decision on acceptable dress code.
